Whether it is or would become more than just very good friends doesn't change the fact that they are so close regardless. Sorey and Mikleo share a very close bond. Okay, that was rather long-winded about GW2, but the situation reminds me of it. He outright panicked in the book Edge of Destiny when Logan left Destiny's Edge behind to rush to the queen before a particularly disastrous battle. To a charr a warband is closer together than even lovers, so all of Rytlock's rather obvious jealousy of Logan's attraction to Queen Jennah would make the exact same sense regardless of if Rytlock has (or had) such an attraction to Logan. The two were very close and Rytlock invited Logan to his warband. It reminds me of in Guild Wars 2 there's the question of if Rytlock has/had feelings for Logan. In the end it doesn't matter at all to the game's plot in my opinion. On GameFAQs people kept saying the developers said stuff hinting that the two were headed in that direction, and that they said Sorey would neither hook up with Rose nor Alisha, but I never see any direct quotes of where that was said. I thought they were just friends personally.
